Ordering the Box
How do I order your storage containers?
You can order your box by calling our sales team – Freephone 08000 352 659, alternatively you can request a quote from this website and be contacted by our sales team with a follow up call.
Is there a minimum time period I must abide by?
No. You can fill the box as slowly or as quickly as you wish. The benefit of hireabox is that you can take your time and spend all week loading the box if you wish. You can use the box for on site storage or we can move it to our warehouse.
Do you charge for the delivery of the box?
There will be a charge for delivery and collection but this charge depends on how long you wish to hire the box. The longer the hire the less delivery and collection will be. Delivery and collection also depend on distance.
When the Box Arrives
Do I have to be there when the box arrives at my property?
Yes, we need to position the box in a place that suits you and someone needs to sign that the box has arrived and is as specified.
How can I get access to my box?
If you self store the box on your site you have permanent access. If it is at our warehouse then access will be during normal hours Mon-Fri 9.am-5p.m. You can access your box at our new, safe and secure warehouse located in Standish Nr Wigan. The facility is served well with motorway access.
How many of your boxes can I hire at one time?
You can have as many boxes as you wish.
Loading the Box
How big is the storage capacity?
Medium HIREaBOX holds 720 cubic feet, and the Large HIREaBOX holds 1024 cubic feet
How much, in terms of weight, can they hold?
The Medium HIREaBOX can hold up to 3500kgs whilst the Large HIREaBOX extends to 4000kgs
What can/ can’t I pack?
You can pack: Household and Office Furniture, Clothing, Documents, Office Equipment, Tools etc.
You cannot pack: Live Animals, Food, Flammable Liquids, Explosives, Bottled Gas, Petrol or Illegal Substances.
What is the best way to pack my items?
Simply put the heavy items on the bottom, with the lighter items on top. Read more from our checklist.
Will your delivery men load / unload my box for me?
No. It is your responsibility to load and unload your possessions.
The Cost
How do you charge for your services?
- From £20.00 per week to store at your premises
- From £22.50 per week to store at our warehouse
How about Insurance?
You can arrange quality insurance through us. This will be discussed further once you order from us.
Who do I contact for billing enquiries?
Contact the General Manager, John Scully, on Freephone 08000 352 659 but all payments are by credit or debit cards. If storage is long term then we will debit your card monthly.
