HIREaBOX have been accepted as full members of the Greater Manchester
Chamber of Commerce. Being a member of the largest Chamber in the UK
brings many benefits, such as the ability to both market the business to
over 5,000 existing members via Chamber Online, and to take advantage of
supplier discounts.
The Chamber Press and Publicity Department have shown a great deal of interest in the HIREaBOX storage concept, so much so that HIREaBOX will be given a free editorial in the Chamber Magazine, 53 Degrees, to be published in February 2008.
New HIREaBOX Prototype Almost Complete
In an extension of the HIREaBOX range, the new larger size HIREaBOX is
almost ready to be unveiled. These will measure 16’ x 8’ x 8’, providing over
40% more storage capacity than the existing size. HIREaBOX are thought to
be the only Mobile Self Storage company in the country to offer this size of
unit to our customers, which are capable of storing the contents of
a typical two bedroomed house.
Plans are in place for the construction of a smaller sized, 8’ x 8’ x 8’ HIREaBOX. This cuboid design will cater for mainly residential customers where space for placing of the unit is limited. Even so, the 512 cubic feet and 2,000 kgs capacity will still be larger than most of our competitors can offer.
HIREaBOX On The Airwaves
Listen out for
'HIREaBOX - Mobile Storage Service' on the radio! We have negotiated a thirteen week airtime
campaign starting in February 2008, with Wish FM, covering the Wigan and St Helens
areas. Scriptwriters have enjoyed writing the ads, as the HIREaBOX service is a
fresh and new concept, giving them something novel and exciting to put their creative
talents into.
The aim of the radio campaign is to raise brand awareness and to outline to customers the benefits of bringing the HIREaBOX direct to their doorstep and thereby making self storage as convenient as possible.
HIREaBOX Insurance Cover
As part of the complete service HIREaBOX offers to customers, we have now extended
our own Insurance arrangements to include both transit and storage risks for customers
goods. This means that for a small fee, related directly to the declared value of the goods,
customers have the peace of mind that their goods are covered both whilst in store and on the
road. The insurance has been arranged with certain underwriters at Lloyd’s and a full copy
of the policy wording is available upon request from Head Office.
